I had heard Jimmy Page used Tony Franks modded Marshalls, but didn’t know Randy did as well (to be honest I had no idea who modded Randy’s amps and never thought to look for some reason).

Someone posted the BOO tourbook over at the Ultimate Rhoads site. I thought I would share it here, it is not mine… Lance, unfortunately I didn’t see that tour… The story goes… Few of my buddies asked me to join them to see the infamous 7/28/81 sold-out show in Montreal but I turned it down because they were scheduled to play Ottawa on 7/31/81, but the Ottawa concert got cancelled the week before so they could play at the Heavy Metal Holocaust in the UK.  In hindsight, I should’ve gone to Montreal with my buddies anyway and tried finding myself a ticket from scalpers. Yup, I came that close to seeing Randy playing live… I saw Ozzy with Brad Gillis on the Diary Of A Madman tour in Ottawa, May ’82… I missed Randy by two months.

PDF was made with a xerox copier pro (300dpi / glossy preset)
the jpgs were extracted from the pdf with Nitro pdf (force extract to jpg). http://norest4thecollectors.x10hosting.com/pdf/miscpdf/boo.rar

I tried downloading it twice – the file is only 107mb & I get “Unexpected end of archive / corrupt file messages.”

tone1963(1806) | Looks like the PDF he created is corrupted. I downloaded the RAR file, aside from the PDF… no issue with the rest of the files/images.

I only see 16 pages also… it should be 18 pages. The two center pages (poster) is missing.
I emailed him and hopefully he will upload a clean file. I’ll post it here when it does.
