ron (11779) | Ohio State marching band rocks out during Rutgers halftime The Ohio State marching band rocked Ohio Stadium on Saturday, playing hit songs from Van Halen, the Rolling Stones and Kiss. The classic rock show also featured a rock band playing along with the marching band during halftime. Associate director Chris Hoch choreographed the show, which was developed from a student’s recommendation. Steve Pfaffman, a former band member from the 1970s, arranged the music, which included Jump by Van Halen, Rock You Like a Hurricane by the Scorpions, Jumpin’ Jack Flash by the Rolling Stones, Frankenstein by the Edgar Winter Group, Pinball Wizard by the Who and Rock and Roll All Night by Kiss. Seeing as how I just got back from a Marching Band competition … this is very timely and very cool. The Whitewater Marching Band did a Foo Fighters song, very cool too frankmQuote |
