I’m seeing ticket prices in the neighborhood of $150. There are cheaper prices, but I think those are for the lawn “seats” in the back of the sheds.

voodoo: KWS opened for them on the III Tour, didn’t he? I thought I remembered seeing him in Chicago or Toledo or something???

I saw them in Denver in 98 and KWS opened. Great show!

mrmojohalen: You have no clue as to why the live album is being released. Quit with the Ed bashing.

I think that was a joke…

It was a joke. I was making fun of people who were claiming that VH is releasing the Tokyo Dome show to embarrass Dave.

So if this is being promoted as a “Greatest Hits” tour, I assume there will be nothing played from ADKOT?

I’m hoping the second leg brings them to AUSTRALIA or the rest of the World for the starved VH brothers & sisters..

EDDIE’S fingers aren’t fingers they are muscle-powered pistons that hammer guitar strings to the fretboard with the force of a rivet gun”.

I really doubt they will leave the US/Canada, but I hope I’m wrong! The rest of the globe needs a VH injection!

TM has the Toronto, ON, Molson Canadian Amphitheatre date listed as July 26th (supposedly the St. Louis date)

So what will $150 get you ? How close to the stage ?

When you turn on your stereo, does it return the favor?

muroh73: I didnt go in with high expectations of Kool and the Gang last tour but I thought they were pretty good.

I remember Kenny Wayne back in 98.The kid hit 30 yet? :)

I thought they were OK. But there is no reason for VH not to have a rock band warm them up. I’d love it if they’d bring another ’70s era classic rock act out with them (Blue Oyster Cult, REO Speedwagon, Styx, etc.). I just think after Ky-Mani Marley and then Kool & The Gang – it’s nice to see a band with a good guitarist instead a good horn player warming them up.
