I thought about that at first, but couldn’t find any evidence. Here’s a shot that shows EVH surrounded by Les Paul, Jimmy Page, Jeff Beck. Steve Vai, and Steely Dan. I couldn’t find a shot that showed who is around the handprints of Slash. It’s possible they are referring to something other than the handprints too. Especially since Jimi’s handprints aren’t in the Rock Walk. Also, Slash does have a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, which is separate.

In many cases it is not the author writing the blurb, but someone from the publishing company.

Always loved the Steve Vai hand print…  It explains why some of his licks are so hard.

ron(11779) | After trying to get my hands on a copy a couple of different times, I supposedly have one on the way. Since this hasn’t been released yet (as far as I can tell), it’ll be interesting to see what shows up. No idea why the multi-year delay on this…. I never got any word back from the various people I contacted about it, including the author himself.

Nope. The seller claimed that it had been sent, but was unable to provide a tracking number. After waiting for it for a month, I contacted them. They claimed it got lost in the mail and refunded my money. It was supposed to be issued in digital form (Kindle) earlier this month, but once again, got pushed back without explanation. Dates now seem to be listed for Oct. 2018 (sigh)

I think it’s time to write this book off. Amazon has now pushed the release date (for the Kindle version) to December 31, 2019.

…and after a month of waiting, nothing. So that’s two supposedly legit retailers that have tried to rip me off by selling me a book that doesn’t exist. Oh well, guess I’ll just have to continue waiting for a release date like everyone else.
