It’s a shame the worse period of Ed’s legacy is up there for all to see. I can’t watch 2004 tour either. :(

He was a mess from 2000-2007. The first leg of the Roth reunion tour was slightly better than 2004, but he was still obviously dealing with shit. When they came back after the postponed dates in 2008, he was back on track. I remember hearing “I’m the One” from Baltimore, May 15th, 2008 and thinking, “Holy shit! He’s back!”

^ That’s exactly what I thought when I got the Baltimore show, I was beginning doubt that he could come back but he did.
I came over to see both nights at vegas on the 04 tour, left really down at the Ed I saw, that’s why I just want to forget that period personally.

His “playing” the guitar with a drumstick was the highlight for sure.
Ugh

Dave was kind of low key at the beginning of the tour, but was more his usual self toward the end of the tour.

Combine that with Ed getting back on track & it made for some great shows.

When you turn on your stereo, does it return the favor?

Wonder if Dave paid his prop handler out of his own pocket, or made the ‘band’ pay?

While they were a ‘band’ onstage, who knows what was in Dave’s contract.

Back in the day, it was a 4 way split & no brown M&Ms.
