The price-point is definitely agreeable.. although, I do think the EVH Standards are a bit over-priced at 3k… I bought a EVH EBMM in 1994 for $1321 and a US Wolf Standard in 2001 for $1369… I don’t see how things cost twice as much now, but hey.. Eddie has to eat, right? With that said, i reeeeeeally want to treat myself to an EVH US Stealth this year.. Resident dickhead. I will hurt your delicate feelings. VAiNQuote |

vhrob (1742) | I know what you mean Vain…. I been buying, collecting, selling and playing these guitars for almost 20 years. I always say the same thing. How the heck can these things cost almost double what the PVs and EBMM geetars did. I own a Wolf special Stealth and its a great guitar but I gotta say hands down….. it does not even come close to the PV Wolf and especially the EBMM EVH quality. They just did it right back then and were not raking people through the coals in the process price wise. But then again…. people want em, they’ll pay the price. I guess Ed is in a position where he knows he can ask whatever he wants and folks are gonna cough up the dough. Its the way of the world. Rob vhtrading member since 2000 vhrobQuote |

VAiN (2777) | I love my EBMM EVH more and more as time passes.. that really is a well-built special guitar. I’m so thankful that I was able to buy one back in the day. I’ll never part with it. To be honest, if I’m gonna drop 3k on a guitar I’d have to seriously consider picking up another EBMM EVH… I’d love to get my hands on one of the natural wood ones… Resident dickhead. I will hurt your delicate feelings. VAiNQuote |

Dutchie (1799) | Compared to most signature guitars, I think the EVH range are reasonably priced… They are awesome guitars for the money. A lot of the other sig guitars are ridiculously priced, especially if you are in the Gibson stable. Some of the Ibanez guitars are the same too. DutchieQuote |

vhrob (1742) | I own and amber and blue (both quilt top) EBMM EVH guitars and I have always kinda liked the natural too…. your right Dutchie that some of the other sigs are insainly high priced. But I guess what gets me is the quality. I still say the quality and playability of the EBMM and PVs is better than the EVH line sigs. Thats the only reason the price bugs me. but they are great guitars and I am glad I own one. My Stealth neck is nice as it plays real smooth. vhtrading member since 2000 vhrobQuote |

VAiN (2777) | How does the new EVH neck compare to the Peavey or EBMM? Similar baseball bat kind of feel? Resident dickhead. I will hurt your delicate feelings. VAiNQuote |

vhrob (1742) | sort of….. not quite the thickness in my opinion. I think the feel of the new EVH models are a little more sluggish and the ebony board I do like but I still prefer the EBMM over the PV and EVH models. Rob vhtrading member since 2000 vhrobQuote |
