kaloway: I believe I have that show filmed 2nd row focus on Ed if needed

I’d love to include your footage, but unlike all the other footage I have for this show, yours is standard definition, which means I can’t include it in the blu-ray version. And that would mean I would have to mix two completely separate, two hour versions of the show. If your angle was the only closeup shot – I’d just skip the blu-ray version and only make a standard def version that includes your footage. But I have another closeup angle (the one in this clip) that is really well filmed in HD. I know some people might be thinking, “Just mix all the footage and make a standard def version, and then delete the one standard def angle from the project and make a blu-ray version.” In theory, that sounds good. But I know from experience – when you delete an angle from a mix, the resulting mix loses its flow and timing – hence the reason for having to start from scratch and re-mix the blu-ray version without the standard def footage.

Bottom Line: creating two versions would be a tremendous amount of extra work for what IMHO would amount to minimal gain.
