videoman320 (308) | Your question leads me to ask a question that has puzzled me for quite a while now. Back in the vhs days before dvd the most asked question was “what generation is it?” videoman320Quote |

ron (11778) | Digital bits on a disc (ones and zeros) are the same regardless of whether they came straight from a filmer, or through different people on the Internet. Assuming (because there is always opportunity for trouble), people can make accurate copies, it’ll be the same either way. In the online trading circles, many shows are traded with checksum files that can be used to assure that an accurate copy has been made/received. Copying of Audio CDs is actually far more iffy than copying a DVD. ronQuote |

Thanks Ron, and I would have never guessed CD’s would be more iffy. videoman320Quote |
