I have been trying to Register at Dimeadozen.org for months, based on vhtrading members recommendation. It’s never allowed me to join. Any suggestions? Anyone know why it wont let new members join up?
The process where you have to register won’t work. Can anyone assist me? I would appreciate it a lot.

If you are waiting for your signup confirmation mail, please check your spam/bulk mail folders. The mail systems of AOL/Yahoo/Hotmail/Gmail love to put our confirmation mail in there! Please be sure you do not have your spam/bulk mail folders set up to delete spam/bulk mail immediately.
I can’t lie. I read through the whole FAQ and realized quickly that I am completely out of my depth when it comes to Dime and torrents. It’s overly complicated and there really aren’t directions for the newbie.
Anyone else miss the days of Cassette trading?

It’s not too hard. Basically… a) install the client software (uTorrent, or whatever) b) find a torrent you’d like to download c) click the torrent, it downloads and opens in the client app d) some time later, you’ve got your file(s)!
There are some things to watch out for, like downloading illegal stuff might get you in trouble, and keeping the torrent alive after you’ve downloaded the file(s) in order to share/give back to the community.
While online file sharing has been the preferred way of “trading” for over a decade now, mail trades are still done. Don’t give up.

Hopefully you got things up and running. I had no idea either, when I started, but it became very easy very fast. I have a Mac and have only used Vuze and it basically runs itself. Double click the file for the show you want in Dime and Vuze does the rest. Soon you’ll be downloading stuff you don’t even want!
