Dave (2308) | Got a problem I thought someone here coud help with – My wife is taking a medical transciptionist class (CareerStep) online. They have audio clips you listen to. The problem is, instead of the clip, all I see is “Go To Windows MediaPlayer Download page” when using Internet Explorer (IE). But I already have MediaPlayer! If I use Mozilla Firefox as a web browser, I can see and hear the clips just fine. I’d use Firefox, but CareerStep has other stuff that requires IE. Can anyone help me troubleshoot? I’m using Windows Vista Service Pack 2 and Internet Explorer 8 (though I had the same problem using 9 too). Thanks, Stay Frosty DaveQuote |

VAiN (2777) | Why anyone would create something web-based in 2013 that requires IE is beyond me. What if you’re on a Mac or know better than to use IE? Can you right-click and download the audio files? Sounds to me like you’re going to have to employ both browsers.. Resident dickhead. I will hurt your delicate feelings. VAiNQuote |
