Mine arrived the other day too. I ordered it on Dec 22 and it arrived on the 30th…. I wish the guitar magazines were coming that quickly. Still waiting on a bunch of them…

There have been so few interviews with Alex over the years, it’s hard for me to remember much about what has or has not been said. There are a couple small nuggets, but I didn’t feel like there was anything major unveiled. It’s a really nice magazine though, as it consolidates the previous interviews they’ve done.

mrmojohalen: The IN MEMORIUM TIME special has a brief 1 pagetribute of EVH.

Copy arrived today – yeah, not much EVH content there. It was good of them to include Edward, but not worth the $10 cover price.

FCO – For Completists Only.

One magazine that is worth every penny is the LIFE Magazine Special. The cover itself is worth the price.

When you turn on your stereo, does it return the favor?

I dunno. About the only store I’d have around me that might carry it would be a Barnes & Noble, but I haven’t been in recently to check. If this is an option for you, give them a call. The copy that I got (from Amazon) does have a bar code, so it could be sold in stores.

I was just wondering if the retailers that normally carry Modern Drummer magazine would have this as well.

My memory may not be what it once was, but I guess I always thought that the handful of dates that were scrapped/moved near the start of the Balance tour in 1995, were a result of Sammy being sick (or similar).
Anxious to look through the breakdown of the kit for each tour. Lots of good stuff.

What songs on the 1982 tour did Edward play the drums on?

Alex had to wear a neck brace on the 95 Tour.

Check the photos and the text about the 1982 tour kit in the Modern Drummer book.
