ron (11804) | Starting my first BluRay author project. My source file is: Audio I’ll by using Sony Vegas Pro v12 and DVD Architect 6. No real editing needed, just need to render it to the correct format for a BluRay disc. But there are so many choices/options. I’m not sure where to start. Any advice? ronQuote |

JasonA (1119) | While I haven’t used Vegas or DVD Architect, I’ve authored a few BDs. If you don’t need to edit at all, then keep your source video as-is and don’t re-encode. All the specs you listed above should work, except the audio can’t be AAC. You’ll need to convert that to WAV or AC-3 before burning. You can do that with whatever audio edit program you like. Once you get the audio sorted out, if you don’t need to edit and don’t need a menu, consider using TS Muxer to simply remux your source files into a BDMV folder and burn that to disc. TS Muxer is free, doesn’t re-encode and makes a working BDMV folder that will play in a settop player once you burn it. You can even add a chapter list which would allow you to use the NEXT button to skip from one song to the next, for example. JasonAQuote |
