bradleon (92) | So, I have been putting family videos on BLU RAY DISCS. Now I need to rip those authored Blu Rays to my hard drive to put on an external drive for safe keeping. I have been using DVD DECRYPTOR for years with DVD’S… Is there anything like that for the BLU RAY’S? B bradleonQuote |

guitard (7354) | Can’t you just copy (drag & drop) the contents of the blu-ray disc folder over to the hard drive? guitardQuote |

bradleon (92) | Will that keep the file original? It will not lose the menu’s and all? Will give a shot and see how it does. Thanks Guitard! bradleonQuote |

mikeyV (335) | I may have used a couple of different Blu Ray rippers, if need be, and they worked very well–not that I would know……. If your ripping legit Blu ray (you are a bad bad bad boy and should be punished as this is not legal) I have used VSO software and they have line of software that is EXTREMELY easy to use to author DVD and Blu Ray’s (Convert X to HD or Conver X to DVD 5). For copying Blu Ray to Blu Ray one for one I would recommend VSO’s Blindwrite7 in conjunction with Slyfox AnyDVD HD. If you do one to one using the latter two be sure that you have the right size blank blu-ray. Most of the time you will need a 50gb blank.
