Alice in Chains Uproar

I took my wife and son to the Uproar Festival last night in Hartford. It was a pretty dull show with the exception of Janes Addiction and AIC, at least in my opinion. They had 2 small stages with lesser known bands performing that all sounded the same. The first band on the main stage was a band called Circa Survive. Not much really going on there, the singer had a pretty high voice but a good set of pipes. Coheed and Cambria were up next but we went and got some food and drink for them. Janes was up next. They put on a good solid show but some technical difficulties at the end ate into AIC’s time on stage. AIC were great. Opened with Check My Brain and played Stone, Hollow and Voices off the new album. They closed the set with Rooster which didn’t really feel like it should have been the closing song but it was the 11pm curfew. Any way I managed to record most of Janes and AIC missing only a song or 2 of each due to batteries. Here is one from AIC. I’ll upload the rest to youtube as time permits. Couple cool VH moments, 1st was my tab at the bar came to $51.50, Second they played Secrets right before AIC took the stage and Third, William was sporting a VH shiirt.
