Even though internet seems like an endless source of information, there’s still a bunch of stuff that you can’t find online. When it comes to guitar playing, there’s an abundance of tabs everywhere, but some little details in songs end up being overlooked, no matter how popular the song is.

YouTube user Ben Eller has recently shared a video with a brief explanation of 5 things you may not have noticed in Van Halen’s legendary “Ain’t Talkin’ ’bout Love.” The song is played by countless guitar players all around the world, but according to Ben, there are a few little things most of the guys failed to notice. And as most of the Van Halen lovers are focused on lead guitar stuff, many seem to forget about details in rhythm parts. So here are some of these tiny but really awesome and unique details.

1. Low G note in the intro
The intro riff consists of A minor, F major, and G major before going into the C-B-C ending. But sometimes people miss the G that goes right before those ending notes. You can check out how it should be played in the video, along with another secret “mistake” in the intro.

2. Two missing low E notes in the chorus
There are a couple of low E notes that people usually play in the chorus riff but aren’t present in the original version.

3. Missing A and G notes in the verse
The verse riff sounds similar to the intro riff, which is basically the theme that goes through the entire song. But there are a few simple things there as well that tabs usually don’t show.

For more details and info about this check out the entire video below.

I’m not a guitar player but I still found that very interesting and enjoyed watching it. Thanks!
