When you turn on your stereo, does it return the favor?

Anyone going to this show? My wife and I will be there. About 8 rows down from the lawn (center). Can’t wait!

Damn … it seems like that place changes names every other year. I will say that ANY name is better than “1-800-ASK-GARY Amphitheatre” though.

Wow! I thought VH was awesome last night. I was a little concerned about Dave going in, but he sounded really good to me. His voice was maybe tired on 2 of the last 3…I don’t think he talked over any intro’s. Band was on fire and Dave was totally a part of that fire (for me) he was funny, etc! Loved every minute of the show.
But I do have a question, DLR tripped over a cymbal or something and fell/rolled straight back on to his ass (3rd song or so)…. But he hopped up, didn’t miss a beat. He mentioned it 2 song later saying, “that fall was brought to you by Bud Light”.
My question is….does he do that for every show as part of the routine?……
It was a blast. Packed house. No one griped. No one stood with arms folded across chest…stood the whole time….
The only downfall was our seats were pretty far away. With our 47 year old vision my wife said, ” I can’t see them, that could be Captain Stubing up there…I just can’t see them”.

A lot of 60 year olds would been on a stretcher getting rushed to the hospital after that. But DLR not only bounces right back up, he jokes about it later!! Gotta love DLR~!!

Awesome show.. I was on Eddie’s side about 25-30 rows back… the band was killer and Dave sounded great. They really rocked it – probably the best I’ve heard yet.

As for Dave’s slip on stage – not planned or part of the show.. so that was fun to be a part of. He had some new material in the middle of DTNA that was hilarious.. the crowd was eating it up! I’m very excited for WPB tomorrow night and 14th row center!!

According to Tampa newspaper bashing Dave, his slip and fall was brought to you by Budweiser. I said Bud Light in previous post…just wanted to make this correction…..I don’t understand the Dave bashing, at all. ( I don’t know how to copy/paste article from smart phone). I think too many of these newspaper writers don’t really know who Dave is. We need to send them all a copy of Largo 82, so they can see that he’s always been…..he’s always been Dave

I’m over it as well.. these critics are probably in their 20′s and have no clue what VH is all about. They’re not fans.

There is no way anyone can deny the show’s awesome rocking force. They killed it. KILLED. Dave was so on and busting with energy it was amazing. Best show I’ve seen so far.

So, what are the cymbal props used for?
