frankm (4891) | What is your favorite 2007-2008 recording and why? What’s the best sounding recording? Best performance? Blah, blah, blah frankmQuote |

evhua (1610) | To answer your question I need to listen to some good shows..and I need the help of some experts inside this group I just listened to the Greensboro and then Cleveland shows…I attended the Cleveland show…and I think the Ed wasn’t at his best, right from the beginning. For sure there are shows were the band sounded good… To be honest, It seems that the second part of the 2008 shows were better played, maybe because Eddie came back “clean”. evhuaQuote |

Decatone (1440) | Didn’t really collect much of this tour but I have to say the increase in good quality phone shot vid was a welcome improvement to the amount that was shot and the increase of mult-angle shows. Sorry, not sure if Frank meant vid or audio DecatoneQuote |

mrmojohalen (6461) | The recordings from the end of the tour (May-June) were some of the best performance wise. When you turn on your stereo, does it return the favor? mrmojohalenQuote |

wjamflan (1112) | The Baltimore show is a great listen from that May 2008 stretch. Dave was more comfortable and starting to come out of his shell and be Dave. And his singing was the best it was going to be in the reunion. Ed was happy and steady, even if he still wasn’t totally himself. It was the best he had been in a while. The whole band just looks loose, happy, and in sync with one another. And the setlist hits you like a freight train. I saw them in October 2007; I wish I could have seen this. “This hamburger don’t need no helper.” – DLR 5/17/15 wjamflanQuote |

VOODOO (2375) | This Baltimore show was the turning point for me. Ed just wasn’t up to par in 2007 and or during many of the early 2008 shows, but when I heard “I’m the One” from this show, I literally got goosebumps.I kept backing up the solos and listening to them over and over again. From this point forward, Eddie was FINALLY back. VOODOOQuote |

wjamflan (1112) | Hello all. I realize this is an “old” thread now. I just wanted to follow up and ask if anyone has good quality audio from the Baltimore 5/15/2008 show that they would be willing to share. Obviously, I can grab the the audio from the video, but it will only be 128 kbps, so I wanted to see if there were other sources out there that I missed. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I keep listening to and watching this show all these years later. I love it. “This hamburger don’t need no helper.” – DLR 5/17/15 wjamflanQuote |
