Very cool having another sow from the Balance Tour thanks for sharing…Any idea who released this ? I wonder was it filmed by the band for possible release or is it the feed that goes to the video screens ?

EDDIE’S fingers aren’t fingers they are muscle-powered pistons that hammer guitar strings to the fretboard with the force of a rivet gun”.

720×480
4:3 aspect ratio
Standard DVD quality (sourced from Youtube)

Youtube video was 852×480, with vertical black bars to the right and left, which I cropped off.

VH employed a film company for the tour for the back screen, I remember reading something from one of the crew (I think) about the issues they had. Fun and games with a huge snowball fight at Denver in a freak snow storm? I could be way off my memories shot!… but I hope all the footage got delivered to the band at some stage and is tucked away waiting to be released!

The sound track is defo a feed from the board, so someone has sync this together at somestage, this Jeff Claire guy has put himself as Director?

I welcome all opinions, please respond to mine.
I’ve seen most videos from this tour, haven’t heard any audio boots.
Eddie is on fire in this one, better than the other video recordings.
Amsterdam 95, is great but less spontaneous. There’s lukathur influence I hear on this one.
This is the best show I’ve seen from this tour from the band, but sammy’s voice is shot! (1st half mostly)
There’s also some bad editing.
I need an education on the best audio boots from this tour. Performance, not necessarily quality, but quality too.
And please start an argument, if we argue about which 5 are best, then I guess those are the best 5.
Thoughts?

I always liked “Balance Tour in Japan 1995 Complete” (Osaka Japan 10/30/95) http://www.vhboots.com/btij1995c.html
but it’s been a while since I listened to it.

Haven’t listened to it, but would make sense. Two weeks difference, I hope sammy’s voice is better.
Will listen! Thanks Ron.

Those that have downloaded and looked through the DVD, are there any issues?
The only things I noticed while tracking it was that most of “Feelin’” was missing, and the last song (Poundcake) is missing.
