Don’t know if anyone has seen this. I am familiar with the 78, 79 Selland footage but I haven’t seen this stuff. Looks like footage from before the 78 show. Tons of B-Roll from that film, shots of the audience, stage set-up, front of house, etc. Wanted to share the find.

I would guess that’s from our very own Single-8! Do some searches for “Single-8″ here at VHT and you’ll find some other goodies and backstory.

I didn’t know if I should start a new thread so I’ll stick this here..”I’m Back”
a little tribute to the “Screamin’ Demon’ DLR.

only the newest remasters are full 1080/64bit,the other things from last year were 720 I recently re-scanned remastered/synced everything..but YT doesn’t support full 1080 and when the files are uploaded they have a darker/softer look to them,so they are being messed with when YT is processing them, plus when they are converted to mp4 it also messes with the sync…until they are released on BD-R you cant see just how good they really look..although they are pretty impressive..S8S

I thought Milwaukee’s best WAS beer?!

Cool footage, thanks for sharing. Has anybody ever seen pants like Dave is wearing on eBay or anywhere? I always liked his weird pants.

I like that you have a plan. I would like to be part of that plan. My dad lives in Fresno, actually on the line of Fresno and Clovis. I need to pay him a visit and bring my Blu Ray Writer with…………..

Any chance you could post some stills or screen captures for comparison ?

the only image files I have stored for printing pics at the moment are the 720′s,the 1080′s are so big in size I don’t know how I would go about it,and most of the improvement is with the darker sequences the higher resolution brings out images in the shadows, and wide angle(distant) sequences, and the films just have a more professional look to them..the reds are as sharp or sharper than the brighter colors and the super bright segments(spotlights) have much better definition.(their faces don’t washout) the 1080′s are less grainy and sharper which is unusual since when you “de-Noise” Images they look “softer” that is how the YT files end up looking…as I said before the 1080 HD files are enormous,a 50ft reel averages 11.5 GB and..each PNG Image is about 3mb times 3,500 images (approx.)..while watching the films being scanned the quality is even more incredible..as far as letting things out ,Glenn has the final say since he is the “man”..I put out this clip to showcase how good Roth was ,I think he was great at what he did,I read about how Roth “never could sing worth a..” and I don’t agree with that..

Everyone here knows that back in the day, Dave WAS the shit. Any references to him not being able to sing worth a shit are referring to the way he sounded on the last tour.
